Guest lecturer at LABtinoamerica – Costa Rica

On July 12th, Felipe Otondo presented the LABtinoamerica network’s presentation “Exploring Crossings Between Art, Science, and Environmental Education By Means of Field Recordings”.

The laboratory proposes, through various processes, a step to limit our adverse environmental contributions and also to provide an entry point for the public to speculate about the future, thus opening possibilities for alternative development and consumption processes by considering materials as basic components of the design process. To counteract the increasing effects of waste and air, water, and land pollution on the environment and to open future perspectives, it examines our connection with living beings and the place they should have in design.
