Works presented at FIA Acoustics international conference
Results from three studies related to the Soundlapse project were presented at the XIII Ibero-American Acoustics Congress, held in Santiago on December 3 and 4. The first study, titled “Implementation and Evaluation of a Sound Design in 3D-Ambisonics Format,” was presented by Felipe Otondo. The second study, titled “Design and Evaluation of a Sound Localization Test Using Virtual Reality and Ambisonics Audio Playback Through Speakers,” was presented by Esaú Medina, a graduate of the Master’s Program in Acoustics and Vibrations at the Universidad Austral de Chile. Finally, a third study, presented by Alejandro Albornoz, was titled “Acousmatic Radio Drama for Children and Youth: An Educational Proposal to Bring Soundscapes and Acoustic Ecology Closer to Primary and Secondary Education.”
