Makuta to be performed in Milano
Felipe Otondo’s electroacoustic composition Makuta has been selected for the NOIS//E Festival & Symposium 2026, taking place in Milan, Italy, from 13 to 15 November 2026. The work will be featured in the festival’s closing concert on Sunday, 15 November, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Fondazione Sozzani, alongside compositions by international artists working in experimental and electroacoustic music.
NOIS//E is an international interdisciplinary festival bringing together composers, sound artists, performers and researchers exploring contemporary approaches to sound, music and technology. The three-day programme includes electroacoustic concerts, multichannel listening sessions, audiovisual screenings, workshops and research presentations across several cultural venues in Milan.
The closing concert will feature works by Antonio Miceli, Felipe Otondo, Frederic Roverselli, Edson Zampronha, Dageki (Diego Ilariuzzi), Alessandro Ratoci and Clemence Martel.
In addition to the closing concert, Makuta will be presented on Saturday, 14 November, between 5:30 and 7:30 pm, as part of the festival’s Distributed Listening Room programme at Fondazione Sozzani.
