Makuta played in various internacional concerts of the Russolo Prix in Asia and Europe

Felipe Otondo’s electroacoustic work Makuta has been selected as a finalist for the Prix Russolo 2025, one of the most prominent international awards dedicated to experimental and electroacoustic music. The piece will be performed on November 8, 2025, at the Restart Theater in Athens, as part of the award’s international tour, which this year includes stops in Geneva, Milan, Tokyo, Prague, and Vienna.

The concert will feature works by eight composers from different parts of the world, with the final prize determined through public voting, both onsite and online. Established in honor of futurist artist Luigi Russolo, the Prix Russolo has recognized innovative approaches to sound and artistic experimentation since 1979.
