Makuta broadcast at Radiophrenia 2026 in Glasgow

Felipe Otondo’s electroacoustic work Makuta was broadcast on 14 September 2026 as part of Radiophrenia 2026, Glasgow’s international radio art festival and temporary art radio station. The piece was included in the programme Radiophrenia Shorts 55A, alongside works by Eleanor Lee and Yi Huang, Daniel Ottini, Spinning Voices, and Edoardo Pistolesi Somigli.

Radiophrenia is a radio art collective, festival and art radio station broadcasting across Glasgow on 87.9 FM and online. Its 2026 edition runs from 5–20 September and includes newly commissioned radio works, live-to-air performances, studio sessions, long-form pieces and selections from an international open call. Founded in 2015, the project promotes radio as an artistic medium and encourages experimental and radical approaches to broadcasting and sound art.
