Sinapsis: Dance Work with Original Score Presented in Valdivia

Sinapsis, a contemporary dance work by Ballet de Cámara Valdivia, will be presented at Teatro Regional Cervantes in Valdivia on 15 April 2026 at 7:30 pm. Returning to the stage with renewed energy, the piece explores the origins of thought through movement, tracing connections between neuronal activity, the body and the relationships that shape individual and collective life.

Blending dance, science and poetic reflection, Sinapsis invites audiences into a choreographic journey that links mind, body and society. The original score by Felipe Otondo combines gamelan recordings with synthesised sounds, timbral textures and rhythmic sequences to create an immersive sonic environment for the performance.
